形態特徵

• Large ferns to 2 m tall; rhizomes short, stout, scaly at the apex.
• Stipes polished, dark purple, stout, wingless, 50-70 cm long, with scattered brown entire, lanceolate scales near base; fronds tripinnatifid, apical portion large, deeply pinnatifid, the rachis wings wide; upper lateral pinnae adnate, the lower petiolulate, to 40 cm long by 15 cm wide, the marginal lobes acuminate; basal pinnae largest, with basiscopic lobes enlarged; veins copiously anastomosing, the areolae with included branched veinlets, without arched costal veins; rachises and principal veins purple and polished, the costae and veins covered with ctenitis hairs on both surfaces.
• Sori round, terminal on included veinlets; indusia large, round-reniform.

• 台灣 : Seldom in lowlands.
• 世界 : S. China, Vietnam.
